Ever try ‘superfood’ facials with nourishing oils?

Did you know that an old ASPA’s favourite, Aromatherapy Associates (AA), recently won Best New Bath and Body Product at the Oscars of the beauty industry? But AA is truly famous for is its spectacular range of natural oils. At ASPA we also use AA for skin ‘superfood’, highly nourishing facials with oils such as

  • The AA Nourishing Face Oil. “The concentrated formula of this fabulous facial oil boasts vital nutrients to nourish dry skin”, said the Daily Express.
  • The AA Intensive Skin Treatment Oil. Red Magazine says it can “replenish lost Vitamin E”, which plays a key anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory role in skincare.
  • The AA Fine Line Oil. Targeting the much-dread wrinkles, this oil is Woman Magazine’s pick for the one thing you need to join the face oil revolution”.

Should you thread or wax your eyebrows?

A strong eyebrow still seems to be all the rage in the fashion industry. But, just like Cara Delevingne’s power brows aren’t for everyone, waxing and threading also have their diehard fans.

Threading – an ancient Indian technique that uses a cotton thread that loops around individual hairs to remove them – is faster than plucking and allows our therapists to create a natural, clean finish.

Waxing is instead great for fluffy brows – as it allows blanket coverage – or for coarse hairs as it is less painful than having each individual hair threaded. Yet clients prone to redness may find waxing a bit too harsh on the skin.

With ASPA’s skin analysis – redeemable against product purchase or a prescription facial – you can get advice on which technique works best for you!
